Wes Anderson’s new movie Moonrise Kingdom has hit the ground running and we couldn’t agree more with its positive reviews. The Masters Review staff saw the film during its opening week (what? that’s work!) and pretty much loved it. It reminded us of how much we like Bill Murray. And how desperately we’d enjoy spending a day, a week, or a year in any one of Anderson’s highly stylized dioramas. However, this is a book blog after all (le sigh) so let’s stay focused.

With that said we were thrilled to find this animated short, done by Anderson, that accompanies the film and focuses on the books Suzy carries in her yellow suitcase throughout the movie. It too, is pretty much adorable. Enjoy!
