The Masters Review Summer Workshop

July 1, 2014

We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for our online Summer Workshop! If you cannot attend a larger workshop, this is the perfect opportunity to get your story or personal essay edited and polished by an expert in the field.

Here’s the nitty gritty. We’ve queried literary magazine editors and authors in the field to bring in a field of instructors that are experts in reading and writing. Your work will be evaluated by the literary magazine editors you want to submit to, the authors you enjoy reading, and by workshop’s end you’ll have a piece of fiction or personal essay that is polished and submission ready.

Our official list of instructors is still forthcoming but we are pleased to announce Ashley Farmer, editors from theNewerYork, our editorial team, and special guest authors will all be reviewing manuscripts.

At The Masters Review, our mission is to support emerging writers. We only accept submissions from writers who can benefit from a larger platform: typically, writers without published novels or story collections or with low circulation. We publish fiction and nonfiction online year-round and put out an annual anthology of the ten best emerging writers in the country, judged by an expert in the field. We publish craft essays, interviews and book reviews and hold workshops that connect emerging and established writers.
